Who leads services at Synagogue of the Hills?
We have a student rabbi from the HUC in Cincinnatti who visits once a month during the months of September through May. The student rabbi leads services during their visit. Services are lead by lay leaders during the remainder of the year.

How many members does Synagogue of the Hills  have?
We currently have 32 families.

What do I get for my membership dues?
Oodles. On top of the regular benefits of membership like Shabbat services, adult education with the student rabbi, Hebrew classes, adult programming, congregation dinners and more. Our student Rabbi, lay leaders, staff, and members will be there to support you through life’s challenges and joys. You will also be supporting our synagogue and the great programs we offer. Our members find they get back much more than they pay for.

How do I join Synagogue of the Hills ?
You may complete the membership application on-line or contact our Administrator, Barb, at (605)348-0805 or via email at and she will guide you through the process.

What if I can’t afford membership dues?
We have a “fairshare” dues policy. Contact our Administrator for more information. No one will be turned away due to their inability to pay.
